The TVCA Scholarship Program
For the last several years, Toney Valley Civic Association has awarded scholarships to high school seniors applicants who are current residents. 2021 was a record-breaking year for TVCA; we awarded $5200.00 in scholarships to 5 college-bound seniors: Amaya Jarvis, Albany State Univ.; Briana Mcgruder, Huntingdon College; Brittany Mcgruder, Alabama State Univ.; Ashley Palmer, Savannah State Univ.; and Marquez E.H. Petty, Georgia State University.
The TVCA and the 5 scholarship recipients were recognized as Torchbearers by DeKalb County.
Scholarship application submissions are accepted in the Spring. Dates will be announced on Next Door and in local media.
