United Way of Greater Atlanta’s Community Building Institute(CBI) Grant – Project: Enhanced Neighborhood Watch & Safety Program (NW signs & Block Captain Training) - $500.00

CASNI Grant (Columbia Area Sustainable Neighborhoods Initiative) - utilized to elevate the branding of TVCA included the purchase of a 6 ft. tablecloth, retractable banner, 8ft. backdrop, TVCA business & membership cards, and printed return address labels. Source: DeKalb County Community Development Block Grant funds - $1,200.00

Community Foundation for Greater Atlanta's State Farm Education Grant - TVCA purchased Neighborhood Watch signs; Neighborhood Safety Booklets; Training of Block Captains; Participant Handbooks, Lanyards with large identification cards and other support for Block Captains and Committee volunteers.- $1,200.00

Fulton DeKalb Hospital Authority Community Engagement Grant $2,700 - used to publish COVID-19 info newsletter and to provide to over 400 families, hand sanitizer, gloves, and masks at the TVCA June 27, 2020, Community Food & Safety
distribution. -
Community Foundation for Greater Atlanta’s Community Fund for support and funding of the Inaugural Toney Valley Day Festival - $9,900.00 ($2,400.00 – designated for coach support). The amount of $7,500.00 earmarked for use in the production of the 2020 Summer festival.
NOTE: Due to Covid-19 safety restrictions and considerations, our festival funder allowed TVCA to re-purpose the entire grant for a food distribution event. On Saturday, June 27th, 2020, we distributed more than 28,000 pounds of food, TVCA Covid Safety Newsletter, masks, gloves, and 8oz bottles of hand sanitizer. DeKalb Health Dept. provided small gifts, Covid-19 fact sheets, and fabric/logo tote bags.
