TVCA's 1st Annual Summer Block Party

Fun, fellowship, membership drive, free refreshments, games, music, health department information bags distributed.
DeKalb Police South Precinct had a tent with safety & home security information. Music from Super Music Engineer Kim Armstrong caused dancing in the streets! Guests were provided free hot dogs (Chicago/slaw/Chili), beverages and cold watermelon. Parents were given free khaki school pants, adult game tent, Corn Ball Toss & a fun bounce house for the youngest guest. Lots of fun!
The 2023 TVCA Summer Block Party will occur as a Juneteenth event.
2022 National Night Out
Date-August 2, 2022
Venue: Campus of Toney Elementary School
National Night Out is a national observation of Law Enforcement and Community working together. TVCA salutes Wayfield Foods for donating 150 bags of collards, apples and oranges to distribute to families attending our event. DeKalb Police South Precinct, DeKalb District 3 Commissioner Larry Johnson, Park Pride, Inc., OK Street Health, CREST and other vendors were present. The Toney community also appreciated the presence of 2 food trucks. The ice cream truck provided complimentary ice cream to members of the law enforcement community. Music and Line Dance was provided by Kim Armstrong of The Popular Dance Group.
